Welp it's confirmed... There are now Housekins among us... Sadly that's not the strangest Otherkin there is... Sadly...
Anyway I love it, smooth animation (even though the walking motion looks more like they're on ice it really ins't too noticeable), funny voices for each character even though they sound almost exactly the same (as is the LazyMuffin/LazyPillow way) and a funny topic that at the beginning you'd think is gonna go one way but does a Evel Knievel on us and does a 270 degree spin on the x axis and a 96 on the y and somehow able to land on it's wheels safely leaving the audience bewildered and entertained. It's weird to think that people believe that they're [insert anything here (literally I don't know how but anything works for these people)] in a human body. But then again, whatever, as long as it gets people through the day I guess it's ok to think you're an Train or a confirmed fictional character. Anyway, I liked that little end "talking to yourself" bit. I was surprised to see side-mouth not there, especially as it's a recurring theme in some of your works as since you were kinda talking to yourself. So yeh I love it. Made me laugh... So well done... Bye..!
Also, currently LOVING The Silly String album. Please make more mmkay?
Like Dave said, a good first animation. Not a lot of movement which made it boring to watch, however lots of potential I do like the 3d/2d/2.5d (which I thought was funny) very appealing... Also the design of Caroline is very well done, very beautiful.
So yeh, well done!
In all honesty it isn't too bad but I'm not a fan of the animation... The baby looks like some sort of 4 legged animal rather than a human with 2 legs and 2 arms... The animations "plot" isn't very interesting either... There is potential, the running animation is quite well done. However, NG is a place where content creators can post their art in the form of images, audio and animation. This, if it had any affiliation with art, is a sketch, If I were wanting to buy a painting I would rather get a fully completed one, rather than a a badly made sketch with no driving theme behind it.
In short, work on body structure so that what you're drawing actually makes sense and think of an idea that you can use to create quality content. However, like I said, there is potential. But it's quite difficult to see at the moment... Please prove me wrong in your next animation.
First of: I really like the animation. Reminds me of some of Lazypillows old works (not only the Murder bots voice but also the story). However, the eyes are confusing, I can't tell if the while indicates where he's looking or the black as it keeps on changing from time to time. Also the movements do seem quite choppy, but it doesn't affect the overall enjoyment of the animation. However I do like the cute characters and some what heart warming story as well as the very creative mouth movements.
So yeh. I like it and I would love this to become some sort of mini series... So yeh... Keep it up! :)
yeah this was animated at 18 fps, so a lot of the movements wound up being 9 fps, which leaves some movements a little weak. as for the eyes!; Edgar's eyes are supposed to basically be glossy black beads that shine from various light sources. this was my first try really paying attention to light and dark so it's a little inconsistent, but basically what's white and what's black in his eyes has nothing to do with where he's looking- I hope that helps!
It's kinda sad that, like with a .swf loop that I made, this isn't gonna get a lot of high marks. However, I have learned from my blamming that post production shit shouldn't be released before project complation. This is a site where users can express themselves through art. Sadly, this is not a finished piece so it cannot truly be considered art, however has potential to be art, like the sketch that it is. I would recommend you use places like tumblr to post WIP's and a means to update future follower. But Yeh... I like the animation. You've definitely studied the stances and movements well. He does seem to be swinging his sword very close to his body and does seem a bit strange (however, when you colour it in it may over come this).
So sadly I only give it a 1.5 as you also need to learn this lesson.
However I would love to see future work from you (I would consider creating drawings before making animations to improve your art style and your understanding of stances).
But yeh...
Well done and good luck with future projects...
